What forces act on an apple on a tree?

An apple hanging from a tree example of Newton's first Law. In the case of the apple the force of gravity downwards balances the force of the stalk upwards so there is no unbalanced force acting on the people-it there for stays where it is.
hope it helps :)

1.) FORCE of GRAVITY.
2.) "TENSILE FORCE" from the branch of the tree.
Depending on which is greater, that would have the bigger influence on the apple.

An apple on a tree experiences two main forces: the gravitational force pulling it down and the tension force from the tree's stem pushing it up. These forces can balance each other, keeping the apple stationary. If the forces become unbalanced, the apple may fall or be lifted off the tree.
