The rate would be the gradient, defined by dy/dx. For graph A this would be (6-3)/(8-4)= 3/4. So any table showing a gradient of over 3/4 would have a faster rate. Table A: (3-1.2)/(5-2)= 1.8/3= 0.6, less than 0.75 Table B: (3.5-1.4)/(5-2)= 2.1/3= 0.7, still less than 0.75 Table C: (4-1.6)/(5-2)= 2.4/3= 0.8.
