What is the answer and the work for the expression \(10 + 3(2v - 3)\)?

Asked by ebs02

Answer (3)

Alright so because there are no brackets around the 10+3 then your coefficient on the brackets is 3
so times everything inside your brackets by 3
3 x 2v=6v -3 x 3=-9
10-9+6v now simplify
6v+1 DONE!

10+3(2v-3)
10+6v-9
1+6v

The expression 10 + 3 ( 2 v − 3 ) simplifies to 6 v + 1 . This was done by distributing the 3 across the terms in the parentheses and then combining like terms. The final result is 6 v + 1 .
