How do you rename 0.600 using place values?

6 tenths or 6/10
it doesn't matter how many zeros you have after the .6 it's still 6 tenths. It can have a hundred zeros it will still be just .6 = 6/10 = 6 tenths
Hope that helps you. :-)

The number 0.600 can be renamed as 6 tenths which is the same as 6/10 or 0.6 . The zeros after the 6 serve as placeholders but do not affect the value. Thus, 0.600 = 6 tenths = 0.6 .
