A flagpole casts a shadow 32 feet long. If a man 6 feet tall casts a shadow 8 feet long at the same time and location, how tall is the flagpole?

The two ratios, the length of shadows and the heights will be proportional, 32:8 and x:6 as 32 is 4 times larger than 8 then x = 24 the flag pole is 24 feet takk

The flag pole will be 24feet tall because of the ratio 6:8 times by 4 will be 24:32

The height of the flagpole is 24 feet. This is found by using the concept of similar triangles, where the ratios of heights and shadow lengths are equal. By setting up the proportion and solving for the height, we arrive at the answer of 24 feet.
