Athens, after Athena gave the people olives they dedicated a peaceful village to the the goddess. Athena watches over the village according to Greek myth. Athens is one of the best known Greek cities.

Athens was a famous, peaceful, and artistic city. It's architecture was magnificent, and it's art was beautiful. However, they were so peaceful that they couldn't defend themselves from Sparta and therefore lost the Pelopennisian War.
